Preregister today for the DTS free online course 1 and 2 Thessalonians

The early church in Thessalonica was surrounded by hostility. In the letters of 1 and 2 Thessalonians, Paul encouraged the church to stand firm in the gospel and to live in a way that earned the respect of those outside the faith. He wrote to them about the Lord’s Second Coming and told them to continue to share the good news of Jesus Christ as they anticipated Christ’s return.

Dallas Theological Seminary invites you to explore the Letters of 1 and 2 Thessalonians in this new free online course. Throughout the five sessions of the course, you will study Paul’s teachings about the return of Christ, the rapture, and the resurrection of believers. You will focus on the key verse—1 Thessalonians 5:23: “May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Dr. Mark Yarbrough, president of DTS and professor in the Bible Exposition department at the Seminary, teaches this course. You will be challenged and encouraged as you study with him our blessed hope.
